Junior Account Executive - New York

Job Description

  • Assist the team with the execution of strategies to maximize brand building and exposure

  • Work seamlessly and intuitively with the international team across a variety of time zones to execute work in different markets

  • Represent the core values of the Re: Agency brand and communicate ours and our clients’ goals and initiatives effectively - both internally and externally

  • Play a pivotal role in handling many of the day-to-day activities for the account teams, including working with senior members of the team to help execute projects and work

  • Play a key, proactive role in account activities including events, media relations, program implementation, brand building, content creation, reporting, etc.

  • Be flexible and facilitate teamwork within account teams; coordinate team resources and take on responsibilities (with senior direction and support) for day to day client services

  • Demonstrate ability to effectively develop full range of written materials including press releases, byline articles, client correspondence and reports

  • Proactively identify a range of visibility and exposure opportunities within the US media market for our brands across the tech, fashion, lifestyle and hospitality sectors

  • The JAE is an active participant in client and team meetings and supports events

  • Draft strategic pitches following the outreach calendar and reach out to the media to secure coverage

  • Continuously expand the pitching lists through comprehensive and competitor research, research of new writers, influencers and publications internationally

  • Acquire fluency in design, travel and lifestyle media – outlets, editors, freelance and staff writers, and key influencers

Qualifications

  • Completed university or college degree

  • International intern experience is advantageous 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • A strong overview / knowledge of key US industry names across the media, design, travel, lifestyle and social media sectors
